Dried Figs Export Season 2017/18 Report
Turkey’s Dried Figs export has reached to the peak point with 268 million dollars for 62 thousand tons during 2017-2018 season. Previously the highest export figures shown in 2013-2014 season with 253 million dollars for 76 thousand tons. While dried apricot prices tend to decrease, dried figs prices increased over time.
France has been the leader to import dried figs from Turkey with 39 million dollars during 2017-2018 season. Dried apricot 2017/18 season finished officially, sultana raisins season is finishing by today as 31 August, dried figs current season will end on 26 September. Till 26 September, over 1 million dolar revenue is expected from these three products.
